About me

Greetings!

I am currently a freelance artist in my late twenties who, after a lifetime love of (read: addiction to) art and narrative, has finally decided to pursue concept and story development as a career. My background, while tangentially helpful, is unrelated: degrees in film and violin performance, and work ranging from advertisement companies to the National Park Service. My career shift did land me in a year-long art program through Gnomon School of Visual Effect, Vide

I believe my journey has made me a stronger person, and a stronger artist.

After a childhood spent chasing faeries with my sister, collecting feathers and magical stones on every hiking trip, and making potions in the kitchen, the unwavering support and endlessly magical nature of my family has enabled me to keep my inner child both alive and vocal! My goal is to use art and story to connect with others, and spread  empathy, creativity and that childhood sense of magic and wonder.

I'm an energetic, enthusiastic (often nerdy), creative intellectual. I have a drive to create worlds and characters, and despite some introversion, a love of being on a team. I spend my personal life reading, writing, practicing my fiddle, and playing DnD.

Oh, and of course, working tirelessly to meet the demands of my ultimate boss: my cat, Potato.  â€‹
